This antibody recognizes human lambda chains.The specificity of the anti-lambda antibody has been verified in indirect ELISA against highly purified human myeloma proteins of different classes and subclasses. The antibody can be used for detecting human lambda light chains in ELISA, flow cytometry and immunohistocytology with frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue sections.

Application Notes

FACS with whole blood: 100 μl blood + 10 μl antibody

FACS with cells: 500,000 cells in 50 μl + 10 μl antibody

This antibody recognizes human lambda chains. In flow cytometry, the antibody stains >95% of Ramos cell (λ, μ, δ positive), and <5% of Daudi cells (κ, μ, δ positive). The antibody does not react with IgG lambda light chain from goat, guinea pig, hamster, rabbit and sheep.
