Description

Fatty-acid amide hydrolase 2 (FAAH2) degrades fatty acid amides into the corresponding acid; thereby, terminating the signaling functions of these molecules. FAAH2 hydrolyzes polyunsaturated substrates preferentially to monounsaturated substrates.
