SORL1 (Sortilin-related receptor, LA repeats containing) is a Type I membrane protein that may be involved in cell-cell interaction. SorLA, a single transmembrane receptor, binds LDL and transports it into cells by endocytosis. SorLA is synthesized as a proreceptor which is processed to the mature form by a furin-like propeptidase. It can also bind to RAP (receptor-associated protein). SorLA is a multifunctional endocytosis receptor important in lipoprotein and protease uptake. The N-terminal propeptide, which is removed, can be cleaved by furin or homologous proteases.

Influenza viruses are common and highly infectious human pathogens. They are constantly mutating to modify their antigenicity and avoid elimination by immunity to previous generations of virus. The nucleoprotein of influenza A virus is a basic, phosphorylated multimeric protein consisting of 498 aa subunits that encapsidate the viral RNA genome to form a ribonucleoprotein particle.

S100A10/P11 (S100 calcium binding protein A10) is a member of the S100 family of proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100 proteins are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of a wide range of cells, also involved in the regulation of a number of cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation. S100 genes include at least 13 members which are located as a cluster on chromosome 1q21. This protein may function in exocytosis and endocytosis.

Ovalbumin is the main protein found in egg white, making up 60-65% of the total protein. Native chicken ovalbumin is a globular monomer with a molecular mass of 45 kDa. It is structurally related to both serpins and lipocalins. This antibody reacts with native chicken ovalbumin. Cross-reactivity with ovalbumins from other avian species has not been tested.

Alpha synuclein is a presynaptic proteins abundant in neurons. Alpha-synuclein, a component of Alzheimer's disease amyloid plaques, is localized to neuronal cell bodies and synapses. Defects in alpha-synuclein are associated with Parkinson disease type 1 and 4, Lewy body dementia, Alzheimer's disease and Hallervorden-Spatz syndrome. Recent evidence suggests that phosphorylation of alpha-synuclein at Ser129 plays a role in the formation of inclusions in Parkinson's Disease (PD).
